'We love you so much' - Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard and ballroom dancer wife Helene Spilling welcome baby boy

In August, Odegaard and Spilling revealed they were expecting with a stunning black-and-white photograph taken by the seaside. The caption, "1+1 = 3. Can't wait to meet you, our little baby," radiated their excitement as they anticipated this new chapter.

The child was born on Sunday, just a day after Arsenal's impressive 5-2 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium. The timing marked a perfect weekend for the Gunners' captain, who continues to lead his team with determination while celebrating personal happiness.

Spilling wrote on Instagram: "01/12/2024 ❤️ We love you so much, our little baby boy 👶🏼❤️".

Spilling has been a constant supporter of Odegaard’s football journey, frequently cheering him on from the stands during both Arsenal matches and his international appearances for Norway. Her enthusiasm for football was evident in April when she celebrated Arsenal’s 5-0 victory over Chelsea - with Odegaard providing two assists.

Odegaard will be in action next against Fulham in a Premier League London derby this Sunday, before taking on Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday.
