Patrick Cutrone and Assane Diao were at the pinnacle of Como's frontline in the previous campaign. Diao, who joined in the winter transfer window, has settled in well as a promising prospect, having scored eight goals and provided one assist in 15 games. However, Fabregas wants to bring in someone who has experience and maturity, and Morata's profile meets all the requirements. The Spanish coach is confident in Morata, having played with him at Chelsea and with the Spanish national team.
