The Montenegrin hitman's goalscoring exploits in Singapore are said to have attracted interest from Chiefs having remarkably netted 40 goals from 33 matches for Tampines Rovers in the 2022 season.
Kopitovic's current deal with Tampines will expire on 31 December 2022 and Amakhosi have been tipped to make a move for the 2022 Singapore Premier League Golden Boot accolade winner.

The DR Congo international was heavily linked with Chiefs prior to the start of this campaign, but his current club Young Africans made it known that he was not for sale at the time as the Tanzanian giants were eyeing a spot in the Caf Champions League group stage.
With Young Africans having failed to secure a spot in the Champions League group stage, Amakhosi are rumoured to be considering submitting a bid for Mayele who is a reliable goalscorer for the Dar es Salaam-based club.
