    Lehmann was involved in her Aston Villa side's win on penalties against Brighton as a young fan by the name of Mia Rose Davis watched on from the stands. After the game, Lehmann signed a shirt for Davis as she posted an Instagram story with the caption 'My hero'. Later she also posted a photo with the Swiss star which was liked by Lehmann.

    Thanks to the win Aston Villa have now booked their place in the Women's League Cup semi-finals alongside Chelsea, Manchester City and the winner of the postponed clash between Arsenal and London City. The Villans finished their group stage without a single point dropped and have now stayed unbeaten through to the semi-finals.
