Beth Mead netted a brace to hand her side a comfortable two-goal lead within the first 32 minutes of the game while Ella Powell's own goal further increased the Gunners' tally. Alessia Russo then scored an outrageous goal a minute before the hour mark as she dribbled past three defenders before launching a powerful shot into the top corner of the net. Fourteen minutes later, Russo completed her brace with a brilliant first-time attempt from inside the box.

With just four matches to go in the season, the win over The Robins has certainly kept Jonas Eidevall's side alive in the title race. They are currently third in the Women's Super League, six points adrift of league leaders Manchester City.

Eidevall's Arsenal team will be next seen in action on April 21 as they take on Leicester City in an important WSL fixture at home.
