    The Rossoneri followed in the footsteps of Newcastle and Tottenham and headed Down Under for a friendly against Serie A rivals Roma. With Pulisic staying behind for commercial initiatives in Europe, Milan felt the full force of the team that finished four places below them in the league. Roma scored five times through five different goalscorers while Milan could only find two consolation strikes in Perth.

    Although they were on the end of an embarrassing defeat, Milan remain one of the biggest clubs in world football and their trip to Australia was a great opportunity to connect with fans who rarely get the chance to see them play live. The players made sure to give their thanks after the match and completed a lap of honour along with the Roma players.

    Most of Milan's players can now jet off for their holidays unless they are due to join up with their national teams. Pulisic will be joining the USMNT camp ahead of the Copa America in his home country. Several other stars, including Olivier Giroud, will be heading to Germany for Euro 2024.
