Arsenal blew Chelsea away with a rampant first-half performance as they claimed a 3-1 success at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday to end their four-game winless run and return to the top of the Premier League table.

Captain Martin Odegaard scored twice inside half an hour to get Mikel Arteta's side up and running before Gabriel Jesus made it 3-0 before the break.

Chelsea, who were a shambles in the first half, improved slightly after the interval and did pull a goal back through Noni Madueke, but it proved to be no more than a consolation.
