Who will win Euro 2020? The favourites, outsiders, underdogs & latest odds

Euro 2020 is into the knockout stages and it has lived up to its promise as an exceptional tournament.

There were no automatic qualifying berths for this tournament due to a variety of different countries set to host matches, meaning every side had to get there in the usual ways of winning the group or a play-off.

So, who are the contenders left fighting for the crown? Goal takes a look at the odds.

Who are the favourites to win Euro 2020?

England began the tournament as one of the favourites to win and they are now marginal favourites to beat Italy in the final at 7/4 with bet365 after winning in the semi-final against Denmark.

Gareth Southgate's side progressed through the group stage, last 16 and quarter-final without conceding a single goal, with Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane and Kalvin Phillips impressing.

They required extra time to overcome the Danes in the semi-final, conceding their first goal of the tournament in a 2-1 victory.

The final is being held at Wembley, which would certainly be a storybook ending to the tournament for a side that have previously never reached the showpiece event.

Italy are on the other side of the draw and Roberto Mancini's side are not far off England with odds of 15/8 to win Euro 2020 according to the bookmakers.

The Azzurri were considered 'dark horses' at the outset of the tournament but have firmly thrust themselves into the discussion for lifting the trophy after impressive victories over the likes of Belgium and Spain.

Players such as Lorenzo Insigne, Nicolo Barella and Manuel Locatelli have shone, while the familiar defensive foundation of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci have been typically resolute.

With an expectant nation urging them on, they will be eager to get their hands on a first European title since 1968, having lost finals in 2000 and 2012.
