This week saw intense action in the AFC Champions League 2017 with the group stages coming to a close and the Round of 16 lineups decided.
Among all the stellar performances that we saw, we have picked out three standout performers for the fans to deliberate upon and decide whose contribution was the best of the lot.
The first candidate for the honour is none other than Al Hilal midfielder Nicolas Milesi, who was instrumental in the Saudi club's 4-3 win over Al Rayyan. The Uruguayan's brace and dominating midfield play helped them finish as Group D toppers. He was also named the Toyota Player of the Week.
Our second candidate is Al Ain's Omar Abdulrahman who was scintillating in his team's 3-0 win over Bunyodkor. The UAE international scored a peach of a freekick and laid on two assists for his teammates and was also chosen as Goal's Player of the Week.
Our third and final candidate is Iranian outfit Persepolis' Mehdi Taremi who bagged a hattrick in a 4-2 win over Al Wahda that saw them pip Al Rayyan to the runners-up spot in Group D.
