Vincent Aboubakar returns to Porto

Despite mounting interest from sides across the world’s biggest leagues, Cameroon attacker Vincent Aboubakar has returned to FC Porto and resumed preseason training with the team.

The attacker who spent the previous campaign on loan at Turkish side Besiktas has been one of the most sought-after players in the current transfer window with interest from Turkey, England and China.

But the 25-year-old this week returned to the Dragons to resume preseason and said he was happy to be back with the club and with the reception he received.

"I am very happy to be back in this team and I am very happy with the way they received me, which was very warm. I am very pleased to be training again with my teammates," Aboubakar told the club's website.

Aboubakar also said he is looking forward to working with Sergio Conceicao and helping the Estadio do Dragao side win titles.

" I do not know him [Conceicao] personally, I knew him by name, But I had the opportunity to make this knowledge directly,” he added.

"Indeed, if we are in Porto we aim to win the title and I think it will be this year that we will succeed.

"The most important is the team, the collective. We're looking to win titles so everyone is happy at the end of the season. "
