The Indian Arrows shall have four players from the India Under-16 squad for the upcoming edition of the I-League

The India Under-16 bowed out of the AFC Under-16 Championship in Malaysia earlier this month where they lost 1-0 to South Korea in the quarterfinals.

Some of the boys from the India Under-16 squad have returned to their respective clubs such as Ozone FC. Bengaluru FC and Minerva Punjab. The rest of the pack are to participate in the ongoing Under-18 Youth League this season.

"Four boys will be joining the (Indian) Arrows and thereon play in the (2019) AFC U-19 (Championship) qualifiers. The remaining boys will be playing in the U-18 Youth League," India U-16 head coach Bibiano confirmed to Goal.

"We will start preparing for the U-18 league from the first week of November. We will bring some more boys in place of the boys joining the Arrows," he added.

The ones who have joined the Arrows set up are goalkeeper Lalbiakhlua Jongte, left fullback Gurkirat Singh and forward Rohit Danu. India U16 skipper Vikram Pratap Singh has also joined the setup.

These youngsters will be hoping to further their development by gaining regular game-time in the I-League which is set to begin on October 26th.
