The 11-times Kenyan Premier League champions have been playing what can be termed as low profile friendlies but Baraza is however adamant that those matches are meant to perfect the team's tactics and not to compete.
"Well, all I can say is that the team is well prepared to play in the Champions League this season. We have played several friendly matches that have helped us to perfect our tactics as well as help the players gel.
"The so called low profile friendlies are what we need to perfect our tactics on the pitch. We are also working to ensure that we gain the needed match fitness before the competition. But honestly I think we are ready for the competition," he told Goal.
The brewers will play against Thika United in another friendly match on set for Friday.
