Tunisia’s Bassem Srarfi monitored by Arsenal and Leicester City

The 20-year-old has attracted interests from English Premier League clubs

Arsenal and Leicester City are linked with a move for Nice winger Bassem Srarfi.

The Tunisia international has been tipped as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez at the King Power Stadium.

Foot Mercato reported that representatives from Leicester and Arsenal were set to scout the Tunisian in their friendly match against Portugal on Monday night.

The wide player could only manage 14 minutes of action as Anice Badri and Fakhreddine Ben Youssef helped the Carthage Eagles salvage a 2-2 draw against the reigning European champions in Braga.

The 20-year-old contributed three goals and an assist in 35 games for Lucien Favre's side in the just-concluded Ligue 1 season.

Srarfi made Tunisia's 29-man provisional squad for the 2018 Fifa World Cup.
