Tottenham will be hoping to find Harry Kane on top form when they take on a Manchester City side boasting the Premier League’s meanest backline on Monday.

With five goals to his name in the last six matches, the England striker is Spurs’ 9/2 (5.50) favourite with William Hill to open the scoring at Wembley, and 6/5 (2.20) to strike anytime.

However, Kane has only scored once from open play in seven meetings with Pep Guardiola’s men, and is unlikely to have many chances to enhance that record considering their defence has conceded just once in seven fixtures.

On target eight times in 10 encounters, Christian Eriksen has only scored more goals against Swansea than versus the Citizens, and can be backed at 4/1 (5.00) to strike for the third meeting in succession.

Meanwhile, Erik Lamela has already exceeded his entire goal haul from last season by scoring five times in nine appearances so far, and is also priced at 4/1 (5.00) to add to that here.

At the other end of the pitch, Sergio Aguero will be aiming to regain the golden touch against Tottenam that has abandoned him since he scored 10 goals in his first seven league encounters.

Without a goal in five appearances against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, the Argentina star is the 16/5 (4.20) favourite to break the deadlock and priced at 17/20 (1.85) to strike for the fifth match in seven.

In contrast, Raheem Sterling scored three goals in the two league meetings between the teams last season, and offers strong value at 29/20 (2.45) to punish them for the third game in a row considering he has hit the net four times in seven league games this campaign.

Alternatively, David Silva offers and even more lucrative longer shot at 11/4 (3.75) after getting on target in two of his last four appearances.
