Miguel Almiron's agent says the midfielder will play in the Premier League

The Atlanta United star has been the subject of rumors for several months, with Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham all linked to the Paraguayan.

The 24-year-old put in a stellar display for Atlanta in Sunday's 3-1 win over David Villa and New York City FC, scoring a stunning free kick as his side advanced to the Eastern Conference finals against the New York Red Bulls

Almiron has been key to a record-setting Atlanta United attack this season, with the man playing in front of him, Josef Martinez, setting an MLS record for goals in a season and the second-year club running to a second-place finish in the East.

The midfielder's agent, Daniel Campos, while not confirming a timeline or team, has now made it clear that his client will be playing in the Premier League in the future.

"There is interest in Almiron and Oscar Romero," he told AM 1080 in Paraguay. "I’m in the process of working on England, there are two or three clubs interested in Almiron.

"There’s nothing concrete but certainly Almiron will play in the Premier League."

Should Premier League clubs move for Almiron this winter, they will have to pay a pretty penny to land the playmaker.

Early reports had suggested that Arsenal was ready to make an £11 million ($14.3m) offer to land the MLS star, but Atlanta United president Darren Eales was quick to laugh off that figure.

"It would have to take at least triple that for me to even get out of bed and think about any bids for Almiron," he told 92.9 The Game back in October.

Since then Almiron has missed time through injury, though his return came with a bang in the playoffs.

Almiron and Martinez were both named as MLS Best XI selections in 2018 and Five Stripes boss Gerardo "Tata" Martino has been named as MLS Coach of the Year

All three could potentially be on the move this winter, with Martino's move away from the club confirmed earlier in the season
