Timely boost to Mathare United as goalkeeper Robert Mboya returns

Mathare United have received a timely boost following the return to action of goalkeeper Robert Mboya.

Mboya was promoted to the top rank following the injury sustained by keeper one Wycliffe Kasaya.

The former Kariobangi Sharks custodian, who joined Mathare United last January, picked a knock that kept him out of action in his side’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Wazito.

Mboya return will be timely for Francis Kimanzi, who is expected to guide the team from the terraces when they face league leaders Gor Mahia on Sunday.

Mathare United, who are three points and a place behind Gor Mahia, denied the reigning champions maximum points in the last two meetings.
