Sofapaka striker, Kepha Aswani has hinted at the possibility of exiting the club barely a month after signing a two-year deal with former champions last December.

The former AFC Leopards and Thika United forward joined Sofapaka from Nakumatt whom he helped survive relegation in the top tier league last season.

With 13 goals for Nakumatt last campaign, Aswani attracted the interest of many suitors, both within and across the border but settled for Batoto Ba Mungu.

“To be honest, a number of Zambian clubs are after my signature. Before making such a move, I want to help Sofapaka to make a dream start in the 2018 KPL season,” Aswani revealed that his agent was keen on helping him secure paid ranks in Zambia possibly next June.

If the deal materializes by June this year, one of the many suitors will have to buy out Aswani’s one and a half year left on his contract.
