Socceroos talent Daniel Arzani was booked for diving while playing for Celtic's academy side on Tuesday night (AEST).

The 19-year-old copped a yellow card for going down in the box during the 60th minute of the 3-1 loss to Greenock Morton - before being substituted 120 seconds later.

The incident brought back memories of Arzani's breakout campaign with A-League side Melbourne City last season, where he was accused of diving several times - including this moment against Brisbane Roar.

Arzani has been impressive in previous games for the team's reserve side - scoring a free kick against Aberdeen last week.

Celtic's senior side are struggling in sixth place on the Scottish Premier League table, having lost 2-1 to Kilmarnock in their previous fixture.

Also in Scotland, Mark Milligan played 105 minutes as Hibernian were knocked out the Scottish Cup quarter-finals 6-5 on penalties by Aberdeen.

The Socceroos utility, who was used as a centre-half during Australia's World Cup campaign, played the match in a defensive midfield role.
