AFC Leopards put an impressive fight against Posta Rangers to claim maximum points at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Saturday.
The 2-1 win was a much-needed result after Ingwe had suffered back to back defeats against Gor Mahia and Wazito FC respectively.
Nigerian striker Alex Orotomal scored a brace for the 12-time league champions, who took their season's tally to 51 points and a realistic chance of a second-place finish.

Argentine coach Rodolfo Zapata has revealed to Goal his man of the match after that hard-fought win. "I will give it to Orotomal, because of his contribution on the pitch. He was a hard worker the whole afternoon and scored an important brace to help us win.
"But generally, the whole team played well although at some point we made some mistakes. It is an encouraging win for us considering the fact that we missed eight players."
Ingwe has just three days to prepare for Kariobangi Sharks in another league outing on Tuesday.
