Revealed: Why Mkhabela is still reporting for duty at Kaizer Chiefs

Mkhabela left Amakhosi without kicking a ball in official matches in February, and the club decided to allow him to make his move to Dikwena permanent

Goal has gathered why Kaizer Chiefs defender Enocent Mkhabela still hasn't completed his move to Platinum Stars.

According to a source close to the deal, Amakhosi and Dikwena are yet to agree on a transfer fee for the player to return to Rustenburg. 

"He's still a Chiefs player. The two clubs (Chiefs and Stars) have yet to agree on a transfer fee," the source told Goal

Mkhabela spent the second half of last season on loan at Dikwena where he became a regular under the now departed Cavin Johnson. 

The 28-year-old utility player made a total of 13 appearances in all domestic competitions and scored twice.

Goal reported in March that Dikwena were looking to make Mkhabela's stay permanent

And two weeks ago, the Glamour Boys gave him the permision to engage with the North West outfit and make his move permanent.

Mkhabela has a two-year deal with an option to renew for a further year lined up, having already agreed terms with Dikwena
