The Ugandan tactician has penned a one year contract to take over reigns at the club after coach Mike Mururi threw in the towel.
Homeboyz chairman Cleophas Shimanyula has confirmed to Goal that Nkata will have an option of extending his contract if he performs well by the end of the season.
“We have named Nkata to take handle our side. He has signed a one year contract that can be extended if he performs well. We need to finish at a respectable position and I am confident Nkata can do the trick.”
Nkata has previously handled Muhoroni Youth, Nairobi City Stars, Tusker and Bandari. He won the league title with Tusker in 2016 but quit to join Bandari.
