Ogenyi Onazi put in an impressive shift with a goal and an assist in ten-man Trabzonspor’s 6-0 thrashing of Corum Belediyespor in a Turkish Cup fourth round encounter on Wednesday.
Hugo Rodallega opened the scoring for the visitors in the eighth minute and just ten minutes later, the Colombian striker grabbed his brace and the second for the Black Sea Storm.
Theo Bongonda added a third in the 52nd minute before the visitors were reduced to ten when Rodallega was given his marching orders for headbutting an opposition defender 11 minutes later.
However, the Nigeria international made it four for the Medical Park Arena outfit in the 74th minute. The former Lazio midfielder stole the ball in midfield and put on the afterburners, leaving a couple of Belediyespor defenders in his wake before finishing low past goalie Sercan Cobanoglu.
Second half substitute Dame N'Doye made it five in the 79th minute and the Senegalese forward made it six three minutes later after an excellent feed by the 24-year-old enforcer as Riza Calimbay’s side recorded a resounding victory over their non-league opposition.
Onazi who scored just his second goal of the season in six appearances took to social media to express his delight at netting in the victory.
