NSL Week 2 roundup: Eldoret 105 reap the most

Twelve goals were scored on Saturday in match day-two of the 2017 National Super League.

The biggest losers were the John Kamau led FC Talanta who suffered a humiliating 5-2 defeat in the hands of Eldoret-based GFE 105. The latter lost against Wazito last weekend by a solitary goal, but it was harder against the inspired newly promoted hosts.

Zeka Wakoli was the tormentor in chief, scoring four goals past the visiting goalkeeper in the 13th, 37th, 56th and 61st minutes. The fifth goal was scored with ten minutes remaining. The visitors scored their consolation goals courtesy of Kelvin Ndung'u and George Bill.

Ushuru FC showed their intent of making a swift return to the Kenyan Premier League after recording their first win this season against Administration Police. The Ken Kenyatta coached side had to rely on Lwamba Bebeto who scored the lone goal in 48th minute to give his side maximum points.

At the same venue, promoted Isibania FC needed an Alex Sunga equalizer to deny Bidco United who had scored earlier through Edwin Walumoli.

At Afraha Stadium, Nakuru AllStars recorded their fourth point this season after snatching a 1-1 draw against the hosts Police FC, who coincidentally recorded the same result against Agrochemicals last weekend.
