Kedah were held to a 1-1 draw by Terengganu FC in their round 20 Malaysia Super League (MSL) match on Tuesday, and the Red Eagles head coach Nidzam Adzha Yusoff was left ruing the outcome of the match.
In the match that was held at the Darul Aman Stadium, the hosts opened the scoring in the 44th minute through Baddrol Bakhtiar's goal. Kamal Azizi Zabri then scored the equaliser in the 62nd minute, when he pounced first on a rebound. Towards the end of the match Khairul Helmi Johari's header looked to have crossed the goal line to give Kedah the lead again, but referee Razlan Joffri Ali disallowed the goal and the match ended in a draw.

When interviewed by the broadcaster after the match, Nidzam remarked on his team's growing crock list.
They started the match without key players Liridon Krasniqi, Akhyar Rashid and Andik Vermansah who were all injured. They then lost goalkeeper Ifwat Akmal Che Kassim to injury early in the second half, with Ramdhan Hamid replacing the Malaysia U-23 custodian.
"Tonight's result is slightly discouraging, but on the bright side of things, the younger and reserve players I fielded tonight showed that they could compete at a higher level.
"I think we should have received a penalty in the second half, but the referee thought otherwise, and that's a little disappointing.
"But I'm a little worried that now that we're nearing the end of the league campaign, it seems that more of my players are getting injured," explained the former Malaysia international.
As the match was the only round 20 encounter to be played on Tuesday, both Kedah and Terengganu have moved up one spot following the draw; Kedah to third place and Terengganu to fourth.
