The Belgium boss has been one of the big market movers over the last few hours as Los Blancos continue to search for Julen Lopetegui's successor

Managerial markets are some of the most volatile in football betting. With that in mind, it's no surprise to see potential candidates cut significantly in price or move in the opposite direction as the situation develops.

Real Madrid's hunt for Julen Lopetegui's replacement has been no different. Santiago Solari is currently in charge of the first team but has drifted to 5/2 (3.50) to be the permanent successor, albeit that price still makes him a marginal favourite with bet365.

Mauricio Pochettino has been subject to some interest with the Tottenham manager available at an industry-best 11/4 (3.75) with bet365.

While the Argentine may appear frustrated with life in North London at present, it's difficult to see how Madrid could prise him away from his current job within the allotted time frame of two weeks.

One candidate would could be much more accessible is Roberto Martinez. The Belgium national team boss has committed to his current role until 2020 but the opportunity to take one of the biggest jobs in football could see that agreement broken. The former Everton and Wigan manager has been backed from 12/1 (13.0) to 9/4 (3.25) in the last 24 hours.

The Belgian FA issued a statement which insisted any potential suitors must go through them first, but it was far from a denial that a deal could be achieved if Martinez and Madrid were keen to work together.

What's more, if there is still a desire to bring Eden Hazard to the Bernabeu in the summer, a manager who has worked with the 27-year-old recently and has a good relationship with the Chelsea star.

Arsene Wenger (6/1) has also seen some support and understandably so. The former Arsenal manager is available and has plenty of experience to call upon but would surely be something of a stop-gap option as opposed to beginning a rebuilding project after the Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo era.

Antonio Conte has reportedly ruled himself out of the running having originally been the short odds favourite on Monday night when Lopetegui's departure was confirmed. Conte is now 8/1 (9.0) but is likely to drift further given the suggestion that he's no longer interested in the role.

Former Real Madrid player and coach Guti is 22/1 (23.0) just ahead of Jose Mourinho at 25/1 (26.0) with bet365.
