Muhoroni Youth terminates contracts of suspended players

Kenyan Premier League Top 8 champions Muhoroni Youth FC have terminated contracts of suspended players.

The Awasi-based side suspended Francis Ocholla, Bebeto Lwamba, Victor Omune, Andrew Sekayombya, Kevin Otieno and Calvin Omanga over what they termed as gross indiscipline. Club chairman Moses Adagala says the club has decided to do away with some of those players.

"The committee sat and decided to terminate contracts of the aforementioned players. So they are no longer part of Muhoroni family and are free to sign for clubs of their choice. Keeping them here will not do the club any good and that is why we want to release them," Adagala told Goal.

"We are already structuring for next season and the best way to do the same is by rectifying last season's mistakes."

Muhoroni Youth finished tenth with 38 points but are not sure whether they will feature in the top league after they were 'relegated' by Football Kenya Federation for failing to comply with club licensing rule.
