Sources: Toronto FC signs Aketxe from Athletic Bilbao

Toronto FC has signed Spanish midfielder Ager Aketxe from Athletic Bilbao, sources have confirmed to Goal.
The 24-year-old has joined TFC on a free transfer and signed a two-year deal with the MLS Cup champions, with Athletic possessing a buy-back option.
A former Spain youth international, Aketxe has made just three appearances in La Liga this season. He has appeared in 35 matches in all competitions for Athletic since debuting in 2014.
