MLS Review: Galaxy storm back again in LA derby, NYCFC rolls over Orlando

The LA derby continued to thrill, with the Galaxy pulling off another stunning comeback to earn a draw

LAFC and the LA Galaxy played out another thrilling version of the LA derby with a 2-2 draw Thursday night, the Galaxy once again storming back late on. 

Carlos Vela opened the scoring just seven minutes in, heading home after a fine cross from Adama Diomande. 

Lee Nguyen provided a second goal for the expansion side from a free kick, picking out the corner and leaving David Bingham with little chance of keeping it out. 

Romain Alessandrini pulled one back for the Galaxy in the 82nd minute, and just when it looked as though LAFC would escape with the win a mistake at the back let the visiting side pull level. . 

 Andre Horta, making his LAFC debut, played a dreadful backpass that allowed Ola Kamara a free run in behind. 

New York City FC continued to roll under manager Domenec Torrent taking a 2-0 win over Orlando City.

Maxi Moralez opened the scoring 39 minutes in, pouncing on a rebound to put the visiting side in front.
