You will forfeit three points if you miss Saturday’s match, the Kenyan Premier League has told Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards.

In what is turning out to be a supremacy battle between the league runners and the league regulators, Football Kenya Federation, KPL has warned that any team that will not turn up for the the league derby will lose three points.

“The derby is still on and will be played on Saturday. AFC Leopards officials are already in Bukhungu to discuss security issues. The rules are very clear, any team that will not show up, will forfeit the match,” KPL CEO Jack Oguda told Goal.

Oguda has insisted that they will not postpone any further league matches due to fixture congestion with the Caf deadline to end league in October also fast approaching.

Gor Mahia alone has three catch up matches and with K’Ogalo still involved in Caf competition, FKF Shield Cup and Super Cup, Oguda admits that they are working overtime to beat the Caf deadline.
