Mayanga names strong squad to face Algeria, Congo

Tanzania National Team (Taifa Stars) head coach Salum Mayanga has named a 23 man squad to face Algeria and DRC Congo in two friendly matches encounter at the end of this month. 

Taifa Stars will travel to Algeria for the first match which will be held in March 22 before returning to host DRC Congo five days later. 

In the current squad Mayanga included Zanzibar’s Faisal Salum and Abdulaziz Makame who impressed in the last CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup which was held in Uganda in December last year. 

Shomari Kapombe, Thomas Ulimwengu who were sidelined in the last couple of matches because of injuries re also included. 

The in-form right-back Hassan Kessy gets the nod and he will be in this squad after missing in the previous games.
