The Fire Boys are likely to consolidate their lead, with bottom-placed Bolga not expected to pose much threat on Sunday

All 16 teams will be in action when the Ghana Premier League enters matchday 28 on Sunday.

Aduana Stars currently have a four-point lead with three rounds of matches to go, ostensibly holding all the aces in the title chase. Their lot will become clearer on Sunday, with closest contenders Wafa and Hearts of Oak still holding hopes of springing a last-minute upset.

With bottom-placed and already-relegated Bolga All Stars the opponents, Aduana are tipped to claim full points away at the Tamale Utrecht Football Academy Park.

Second-placed Wafa must win to keep up the chase. Victory will be far from easy as they come up against reigning champions Wa All Stars, who are high in confidence following a 2-1 win over Hearts in midweek.

The Phobians are not totally out of the race even if their chances are slim. A win, therefore, is a must as Frank Nuttall’s outfit host ninth-positioned Ebusua Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Eleven points adrift of Aduana, Asante Kotoko are certainly out of the race. Be that as it may, their fans will not take it kindly should they fall to Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

With an eye on the top four, Berekum Chelsea are targeting a win when they play as guests to relegation-threatened Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park.

Newcomers Elmina Sharks still have a chance to finish their maiden season higher up the table. Currently seventh on the log, their fortunes could improve with victory at the expense of relegation-trapped Great Olympics, who must win at all cost to improve their chances of beating the drop.

It would be 11 wins for Medeama should they be able to snatch a victory away at Inter Allies. The Yellow and Mauves are presently eighth on the table while the Eleven-Is-To-One sit six places below.

At the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, 2014-15 champions Ashanti Gold will face off against Tema Youth, who are just one place off the relegation zone. The Miners, though, hold the 10th spot.
