Stuttgart sign Galatasaray defender

Stuttgart have signed defender Ozan Kabak from Galataray for €11 million (£10m/$13m), the clubs have confirmed.

The teenager has inked a deal that will tie him tp the Bundesliga side until 2024.

"We're delighted that Ozan has decided to join VfB, despite having other offers from big European clubs," managing director Michael Reschke said in a statement. "He's already proved his quality in the Champions League and was an important first-team player at Galatasaray this season."

Everton expect quiet January window

Macclesfield manager Campbell played alongside Cole with England and the two were also team-mates at Portsmouth in the 2006-07 season.

Klopp delighted with Robertson contract

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has paid tribute to Andy Robertson's commitment to his club after the defender put pen to paper on a new contract at Anfield.

Robertson, 24, joined Liverpool from Hull City in a £8 million ($10m) in the summer of 2017, and established himself as Klopp's first-choice left-back towards the end of his debut season.

Robertson to sign new five-year Liverpool contract

English-born Turkish midfielder Jem Karacan is signing with A-League side Central Coast Mariners, according to Australian media.

The 29-year-old was released from his contract at Millwall on Tuesday and according to The Australian chief editor Ray Gatt, has joined the Gosford-based club.

Karacan has spent most of his career in the Championship with the Lions, Reading and Bolton.

He was a part of Reading's il-fated 2012-13 Premier League campaign which saw the team finish 19th and be relegated.

The Turkish youth international will fill the foreign roster spot at the Mariners vacated by Ross McCormack - who moved to Motherwell at the start of the transfer window.
