Yanga signs Fiston Kasembe from Balende FC


The Ligi Kuu reigning champions Yanga FC have signed Congolese defender Fiston Kasembe from Balende FC.

The defender will be filling the slot left by Togolese Vincent Bossou who many thought will be getting a new contract but now looks like Yanga won’t be renewing his deal.

This is the first confirmed signing of the window for the Jangwani based club.


Simba to open talks with AFC Eskilstuna 


After Simba midfielder Said Ndemla was successful in his trial in Sweden with AFC Eskilstuna, his current club is open to talks and completion of the deal.

This comes as a good news to the player and also fans who will be happy seeing another Tanzanian footballer playing professionally in Europe.


Lwandamina blasts referee over Chirwa's strike


Yanga Head Coach, George Lwandamina has blasted the coach who officiated the weekends match versus Tanzania Prisons.

This comes after the referee disallowed a goal for offside a decision which Lwandamina feels is wrong and the goal should have been allowed.

The goal if allowed would have given Yanga a 2-1 lead and won them the match.
