Kichuya happy with Okwi contribution

Okwi has scored three goals in the CAF Confederation Cup after also scoring in each match against Gendarmerie

Simba winger Shiza Kichuya has lavished praise on teammate Emmanuel Okwi following his fine display in the Msimbazi side 2-2 home draw with Al Masry in the CAF Confederation Cup tie on Wednesday. 

Okwi who is currently Ligi Kuu’s top scorer scored a penalty and he was the side’s most dangerous player against Masry’s defensive line throughout the game.

Speaking to Goal, Kichuya said that Okwi is a real professional player who knows very well how to play in such a big a match and his experience helped the team not to receive a home defeat. 

“Okwi is one among the most important player in our squad, he is experienced and knows how to perform in big matches, everyone is happy with his contribution,” said Kichuya. 

Okwi has scored three goals in the CAF Confederation Cup after also scoring in each match against Gendarmerie of Djibout last month in the first round.
