After suffering two defeats in Senegal, Kenya U-20 will now face Egypt in another build up match on February 20

Kenya U-20 will face Egypt in a friendly match on February 20.

Football Kenya Federation have confirmed through a signed statement obtained by Goal that the friendly which was scheduled for Kenya, will now be played on the same day in Cairo.

“This is to inform you that the Kenya U-20 friendly against Egypt that was scheduled to be played on February 20, 2017 at the Kasarani stadium, will now be played on the same day away in Cairo.

Kenya U-20 suffer another defeat in Senegal

“The team, which jets in from Senegal on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 1am will leave for Cairo on February 18, 2017 for the friendly. While in Senegal the John Kamau coached side played two international friendlies against the West African side, on February 10 and 12, losing 2-0 and 4-0 respectively.

“The objective of the friendlies is to prepare the team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan.”
