Kariobangi Sharks maul Tusker as Thika United hold Kakamega Homeboyz

Thika United managed to get a valuable point against Kakamega Homeboyz away at Bukhungu stadium on Saturday.

The visitors' decent start saw their side grab a deserved opener in the 12th minute courtesy of James Kinyanjui, who took advantage of poor defending by the hosts.

However, the Paul Nkata led side bounced back in the 57th minute with a goal scored by defender Benjamin Oketch.

At Camp Toyoyo, Tusker FC soaked in five goals against Kariobangi Sharks.

Sharks strikers Henry Juma and Erick Kapaito were tormentors in chief, and as a result, managed to score a brace each.

Juma hit the Brewers early in the second minute after the visitor's defense was caught napping.

With a few seconds to the halftime whistle, Timothy Otieno made it even.

Juma completed his brace in the second half, with Kapaito claiming his as well before Harrison Mwendwa hit the fifth late into the match to hand William Muluya maximum points.

In another match played on Saturday, Mathare United came from two goals down to draw 3-3 with Wazito FC.
