Kariobangi Sharks defender John Kuol calld to South Sudan squad to face Uganda

John Kuol has ‘dispelled talks that the South Sudanese was on the process of acquiring a Kenyan passport that could have seen him feature for Harambee Stars.

This is after the Kariobangi Sharks defender honored a call-up from the South Sudan National team that is currently preparing to take on Uganda in the Afcon Qualifiers.

Should he be given his senior national team debut against Uganda cranes, the center-back, who joined Sharks in June 2017 from Chemelil Sugar, will not be eligible to play for Kenya.

Kuol, who came to Kenya as a refugee,  joined the KPL at the beginning of the 2017 season straight from High School when he signed for the Millers from Kakamega High School.

His impressive displays have finally earned recognition with a maiden call-up to the South Sudanese team.
