Kariobangi Sharks cut cake after FKF Shield Cup victory

Kariobangi Sharks cut the cake as the FKF Shield Cup champions prepare for their maiden trip to the Caf Confederation Cup next season.

Sharks beat Sofapaka to clinch the Shield and with that came a ticket to the continental showpiece, but club patron Nick Mwendwa has now challenged the team to believe in themselves ahead of their debut at this stage.

Mwendwa spoke during a luncheon with the team on Wednesday where he extended his congratulations for the historic cup final victory.

He has also expressed his satisfaction with the technical bench led by Coach William Muluya, whom he termed as ‘courageous and determined’. 

Sharks also finished sixth in the just ended Kenyan Premier League season, besides producing the league top scorer-Erick Kapaito who scored 16 league goals
