Kariobangi Sharks goalkeeper John Oyemba is expected to sit out for the remainder of the season as he continues with rehabilitation.

The promising custodian, who earned his senior national team call-up in March against Comoros, is nursing a back problem.

Even though Oyemba was in training ahead of Sharks’ trip to Mumias, where they are expected to tackle Kakamega Homeboyz, Goal now understands that the player will not be in William Muluya's plans until next season.

“I am continuing with rehabilitation, but training at the same time just to strengthen my back,” Oyemba revealed to Goal.
