Kerala Blasters are close to a deal for Serbian midfielder Nikola Krcmarevic, Goal has learnt. The 26-year-old is in Ahmedabad for a medical test and to complete the deal.
Blasters will fill their foreign player quota once they wrap up the transfer of Krcmarevic. The player is also set to be the third Serbian in the squad after Nemanja Lakic-Pesic and Slavisa Stojanovic.
Courage Pekuson, Matej Poplatnik, Cyril Kali and Keziron Kizito make up the full list of foreign players at Kerala Blasters for the 2018-19 season of Indian Super League (ISL).
The Kochi-based club has also roped in Indian internationals Seiminlen Doungel, Halicharan Narzary and Anas Edathodika to boost their title challenge after a disappointing sixth-place finish last season.
Krcmarevic joins from Faroese football club 07 Vestur where he spent three months and made 14 appearances. He started his professional career at Serbian club Cukaricki and has since plied his trade in Sweden and Greece.
