The Spaniard wants his team to improve at the back and up front...

Jamshedpur FC slumped to their first defeat of the season as they went down 2-1 to Pune City FC in match 39 of the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex on Wednesday.

Head coach Cesar Ferrando felt disappointed with the result and is hoping for a response from his side. The Spaniard is aware of the areas that need improvement and wants to fix those before the Men of Steel host Chennaiyin on Sunday.

“I am a bit disappointed, but not because we lost the match. I think we played according to our style, " explained Ferrando.

"We have a style that we have played with in every match. We will try better next time. To lose or win is a part of football. I think we need to improve in defence and our attack. These things need to happen.”

Jamshedpur were on an unbeaten run since the start of the season but the defeat to Pune City has denied them an opportunity to climb up the league table. Ferrando's men are fourth on the table with 11 points from eight matches.
