Inexperienced Somali referee Nur Muhudin to officiate Kariobangi Sharks Caf Confed match

Twenty-seven-year-old Somali referee Nur Muhudin Mohamed will be in charge of the Caf Confederations Cup preliminary round match between Kariobangi Sharks and Arta Solar7 FC of Djibouti’.

The inexperienced Nur Muhudin turned to a Fifa international referee in 2018 and the game, a first for the Kenyan representatives at the continental stage, will prove as a true test to the Somali’s competency level when the Kenyan representatives host the Djibouti side on November 27.

Muhudin will be assisted by a relatively more experienced Ali Mohamed Mahad as the first assistant referee. Mahad made his international debut in 2014 while Abdi Mohamed Nour will be the second Assistant Referee.
