‘I'm here to help’ struggling Malaga - Isaac Success

With Malaga languishing at the bottom of Spanish La Liga log, new signing Isaac Success is keen to help the Boquerones avoid relegation.

Success, a loan signing from Watford looking to get his injury-ravaged career back on track, arrived the Málaga-Costa del Sol International Airport on Thursday afternoon as he prepares for a second stint in the Spanish top-flight.

José González’s side are enduring a bad patch as they sit 20th in the league table. Winless in their past eight games across all competitions.

Their last victory came away at Real Sociedad in a league tie on December 17.

“I’m here to help the club, the coach, the fans, everyone. I’m a footballer, and no footballer in the world wants to go down to the second division,” Success told media.

“I’m here to do what needs to be done to save the team.

“I’ve spoken to the coach and I’m happy to be here, back in LaLiga.

“Now I only want to work with the team and not think about the future.”

The former Granada forward will be hoping to rekindle the sort of form he that saw Watford outlay a then club-record fee for his signature in 2016 when he hits the pitch, alongside fellow Nigeria international Brown Ideye.

Both players are available for selection in the bottom-of-the-table clash against Las Palmas - who now have in their ranks compatriots Ogenekaro Etebo and Emmanuel Emenike - on Monday evening.
