Marko Arnautovic West Ham Premier League 2018-19

Huddersfield v West Ham: TV channel, live stream, squad news & preview

Huddersfield Town could win back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since February when they host West Ham United on Saturday.

The Terriers gained a vital three points in their bottom-of-the-table clash against Fulham on Monday night, and victory against the Hammers could see them move to the lofty heights of 14th.

For Manuel Pellegrini’s men, they will be hoping to put some distance between themselves and the relegation candidates. A win in Yorkshire could see them eight points clear of the drop zone.

Summer recruit Felipe Anderson was superb in last week’s 4-2 victory against Burnley. Another good showing from the Brazilian could prove to be the difference between the sides on Saturday.

Match Preview

Steve Mounie, Huddersfield

Monday’s victory against Fulham was Huddersfield’s first of the season, and moved them up to 18th in the table.

It was a strong performance from the Terriers, who perhaps even deserved a few more goals from the game. Ultimately, they didn’t even net the game’s decisive strike, rather an own-goal from Fulham defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah settled proceedings.

With a fully fit squad to select from David Wagner will have hope against a West Ham side ravaged by injury. The London side are missing four key midfielders ahead of the trip north, with Andriy Yarmolenko (achillies), Jack Wilshere (ankle), Carlos Sanchez (knee), Manuel Lanzini (knee) all unavailable.

As a result, Robert Snodgrass was forced to start in central midfield during last week’s 4-2 win against Burnley, alongside Pedro Obiang. The pair know they will be in for a real battle at the John Smith’s on Saturday, when they come face-to-face with Huddersfield’s Jonathan Hogg and Philip Billing.

West Ham will again look to their star man Marko Arnautovic for inspiration. The Austrian has scored five in nine league appearances this season and has netted in all three of the Hammers’ victories.
