Huddersfield Town boss Wagner to decide on Sobhi ahead of Liverpool clash

Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner will take a decision on Ramadan Sobhi ahead of their clash with Liverpool on Saturday evening.

The midfielder has not featured for the Kirklees Stadium outfit since he got injured in their 6-1 loss to Manchester City on August 19.

Although the 23-year-old has returned to training, the gaffer revealed that he will wait till Saturday to take a decision on his involvement against the Reds.

“Ramadan Sobhi has been in training for 10 days and looks very good,” Wagner said in a pre-match conference.

“But he was out for nearly six weeks, so I have to see whether we give him another week of training or a game with the Academy before we bring him into the squad – for this I have two further days to decide.”

Sobhi has made only one league appearance for the Terriers since he joined the side from Stoke City in June.

Huddersfield are two places above the bottom of the log with three points from eight games and will be hoping to upset Liverpool when they meet.
