The majority of the players turned up under the keen eye of assistant coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno, who is conducting the session in the absence of head coach Dylan Kerr, who is away.

Captain Haron Shakava says the team is happy to have that opportunity and everyone is working hard to get that chance, "the training has been good considering it is the first day, everyone is giving absolutely everything to be on the traveling party."

In their maiden meeting in 2017, Everton defeated Gor Mahia 2-1 in Tanzania. Coach Dylan Kerr will hope to get at least a draw or unlikely win in England.
