The Peace Boys’ captain has charged his teammates to ensure that guide against error prone performances in remaining games

With nine games left in the Nigeria Professional Football League, Plateau United’s skipper, Elisha Golbe advises his teammates to stay focused as they continue in their quest to securing the team's first Nigeria topflight title.

The Peace Boys suffered a setback last week after they were defeated by Niger Tornadoes in Lokoja.

And the defender believes that going on a good run of results would land the Port Harcourt side the topflight's diadem.

“We know the league season is becoming very much intense and we do not want to be caught napping at this stage,” Golbe told Goal

"We have done our best from the beginning of the season till now and the only way we can get the league title is if we try not to lose points again in our remaining matches be it at home or away. We must be fully focused on the challenges at hand and we must not lose guard of our aspiration."

Plateau United are first on the league table with 51 points from 28 games but their lead at the top has been cut to two points after Sunday's loss to Tornadoes.
