India's Sunil Chhetri has been chosen as last week's Fans' Asian Player of the Week, following his impressive performance in his team's 2-0 win over Kenya in the Intercontinental Cup final.

Chhetri was exceptional, scoring both goals, as the Stephen Constantine's side put in an impressive performance against their African opponents. He was also named Goal's Asian Player of the Week.

Chhetri gave India the lead in the 8th minute when he connected with youngster Anirudh Thapa’s free-kick from the right-hand side. In the 29th minute, he latched on to a lofted ball from Anas over the Kenyan defence before releasing a left-footed shot to find the net.
