Orlando Pirates usually take on Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Black Label Cup to kickoff the season.
This time there's a different sponsor and a different setup for the Shell Helix Ultra Cup, which will showcase Kaizer Chiefs against Mamelodi Sundowns.
Here's how fans reacted on Twitter, including those poking fun at Pirates who are missing out.

#ShellHelixUltraCup Orlando Pirates are not in the competition because they are in paid partnership with Caltex. It won't be as nice without them to be honest. — KaizerChiefsFanTv (@KCfanTv) May 28, 2018
#ShellHelixUltraCup Big ups to the one and only, Dr. Jacques Grobbelaar. @Jacques_SMSA you made history, I am extremely proud and excited for the opportunity given to him, to give the beautiful sport of football the credit it deserves.
