The Citizens waited till the last day of the season to claim the coveted trophy with a 4-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.
Mahrez played a significant role in the encounter to ensure that the title did not elude his side, scoring one of the goals at American Express Community Stadium as City beat off competition from their closest rivals Liverpool to finish on 98 points from 38 games.
The trophy is the third for the 28-year-old since he teamed up with the side from Leicester City at the start of the season, having won the League Cup as well as the Community Shield.
Following the achievement, Mahrez has taken to social media to express his feelings.
"Dreams come true, alhamdulillah,” Mahrez posted on Instagram.
At the King Power Stadium, Mahrez also won the Premier League in 2016 and Football League Championship title.
This season the winger scored 12 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions.
